PART A – HANDOVER CHECKS 1. Dimensional Check Overall dimensions as per approved drawing Tolerance within permissible limits Alignment, level & squareness verified 2. Visual & Surface Check No cracks, honeycombing, spalling Surface finish as per specification Chamfers, grooves, rebates as per drawing 3. Cast-in Items Check Inserts, bolts, plates in correct location Size, grade & orientation verified Welding quality checked (if applicable) 4. Concrete Quality Check Concrete grade as per specification Cube/Cylinder strength achieved Mix design compliance verified 5. Reinforcement Check Bar diameter, spacing & grade as per drawing Cover blocks provided properly No exposed reinforcement 6. Lifting & Transport Check Lifting anchors/loops in good condition Lifting points as per approved design Safe handling & transport arrangement 7. Identification & Marking Element ID, type & drawing number Casting date & batch number Weight marking (if required) 8. Tolerance & Finish Check Dimensional tolerance within limits Surface finish meets specification Edges & corners in good condition 9. QA/QC Test Record Check Material test reports verified Concrete strength reports checked NDT results (if applicable) 10. Loading & Stacking Check Safe stacking height maintained Proper supports & dunnage used No damage due to stacking 11. Safety Check No sharp edges or loose items Safe for lifting & installation Handling safety ensured 12. Final Approval All inspections completed QA/QC Engineer approval Fit for dispatch & installation PART B – DOCUMENTS REQUIRED 1. Approved Drawings GA drawings, reinforcement details Inserts & lifting details 2. Material Test Certificates Cement, aggregates, steel Admixture test reports 3. Concrete Mix Design Approved mix design w/c ratio & admixture details 4. Concrete Test Reports Cube/Cylinder strength (7 & 28 days) 5. Steel Test Reports Reinforcement mill test certificates 6.
